Posting videos

Sometimes you may want to share videos related to a project, such as job walkthroughs, bidding guides, or other useful information.

Video Hosting

The planroom is built to host and serve drawings and documents exceptionally well. However, it's not a video hosting or streaming service.

To ensure your customers have a good experience, video streaming is something we prefer to leave to video hosting experts like YouTube, Vimeo, or similar platforms.

Instead of uploading the files to the planroom directly like drawings and specs, you'll need to upload videos to an external streaming service such as YouTube or Vimeo, and then embed them in the project from there.

If you'll be using YouTube, we recommend setting up a brand account, and then posting your job walkthroughs and other videos there for embedding.
